Since its foundation Zanotta has been protagonist of Italian design history and, starting from 60', it has become a recognised and appreciated brand on international furniture market ; a success explainable when thinking of its ability to perfectly understand that it would have been possible to produce profit together with culture, as well explained by Aurelio Zanotta at the end of 80'.

Thanks to this intuition Zanotta started to cooperate, thus since 50' and 60', with famous design names such as Achille Castiglioni, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Enzo Mari, Bruno Munari, Ross Lovergrove and many others . It has even be able to transform products in masterpieces preserved in the most prestigious Museums all over the world such as MoMa of New York, Centre Pompidou in Paris, London Design Museum, Museum of Arte e Mestieri of Berlino, Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein and Israel Museum of Gerusalem examples of the most important ones.
